Vitila Sirivalu works very closely with schools and communities through the implementation of various recycling projects, aimed to create awareness on the best practices of recycling. She also works very closely with the Collection Pillars of Recycling who are involved in informal waste picking.
She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health and also completed her Trade Diploma in OHS from the Fiji National University. Prior to joining PRF, she worked at Medical Services Pacific as a Public Health Officer. She was also a volunteer for the COVID-19 vaccination team. Her love for the environment and community outreach work motivated her to join PRF where she is now able to work towards reducing pollution and carbon footprint through recycling initiatives.
