Recycled glass products have proven to be a valuable resource in construction works.
Glass sand, a product produced from recycled glass, can be used as a replacement for sand in concrete, asphalt, and other construction materials. Research has shown that glass sand can improve the strength and durability of concrete, while also reducing the carbon footprint of construction projects.
Through the glass downcycling project in Fiji, we are not only reducing waste and promoting sustainability but also supporting local economic development and job creation. By leveraging innovative technology and strategic partnerships, we aim to create a circular economy where resources are reused, ultimately building a more sustainable future for Fiji and beyond.
