Ashna holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Professional Diploma in Legal Practice from the University of the South Pacific.

Currently serving as a Project Officer with the Pacific Recycling Foundation, Ashna made a conscious decision to shift from a legal career to one focused on community development and environmental advocacy. While her legal studies equipped her with strong analytical and advocacy skills, she found deeper fulfillment in work that connects directly with people and creates visible, lasting change.

Driven by a passion for sustainability and social equity, Ashna now channels her knowledge and energy into empowering communities, advocating for environmental responsibility, and supporting inclusive development. For her, this work is not just a job—it’s a meaningful way to give back to the region she proudly calls home.
