Ashwarya has a strong academic foundation and hands-on experience in environmental sustainability, project management, and education. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, majoring in Biology and Chemistry, along with a Graduate Certificate in Education and a Postgraduate Diploma in Climate Change.

She began her career as a teacher before transitioning into project management through an internship with the UNDP GEF Small Grants Program, where she gained experience in data analysis, monitoring, and grant management.

Ashwarya is passionate about environmental sustainability, waste management, and advocacy for both environmental protection and the rights of marginalized and vulnerable communities. Through her work, she strives to develop meaningful projects that advance social justice and empower those most affected by environmental challenges.
